&lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;Desired:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/u&gt; US Citizen and Permanent Resident&lt;br&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;Years Of Experience:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/u&gt; 5+ years&lt;br&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;Desired Start Date:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/u&gt; September&lt;br&gt;
&lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;Duration:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/u&gt; 2 to 3 Months (potential for full time hire)

&lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;Background:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/u&gt;&lt;br&gt;
Moving into implementation stage, additional support is required for the QA function. This resource would manage and assist in drafting an extensive series of test scripts for the QAT Quality Assurance Test requirements.  Responsibilities include coordination of test team resources and activities and report timely status on test case creation, test case execution and defect metrics associated with test cycles. The QA team lead will identify Quality gaps and follow through to resolution. All test activities will be documented and tracked to resolution. Additionally, once UAT begins, the Lead would coordinate resources, test results, ticket creation, and follow through to resolve any outstanding issues.  Lastly, this resource would manage the day to day testing needs amongst the various user groups in Legal, Finance, IT, and Professional Practices teams to ensure efficient use of the testing resources time.

&lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;Mandatory:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/u&gt;
&lt;i&gt;Specific Duties Include but are not limited to:&lt;/i&gt;
&lt;br&gt;*Coordination of day to day activities for the test team
&lt;br&gt;*Review software development deliverables such as Project Plan, Requirements, Use Cases, Integration Test Results, for thoroughness and detail
&lt;br&gt;*Define, manage, and review the test cases and test data 
&lt;br&gt;*Update regression scripts and assist with test automation efforts 
&lt;br&gt;*Communicate test results and QA issues to management  
&lt;br&gt;*Facilitate QA interaction with analysts, developers, and users
&lt;br&gt;*Track defects and provide quality metrics 
&lt;br&gt;*Perform end to end testing of applications in coordination with various teams

&lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;Experience required:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/u&gt;
&lt;br&gt;*Demonstrated skills in large scale application testing 
&lt;br&gt;*Experience with reports testing and advanced SQL usage 
&lt;br&gt;*Previously responsible for test cases creation and execution
&lt;br&gt;*Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills 
&lt;br&gt;*Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment 
&lt;br&gt;*Self motivated, able to work independently, and perform tasks under minimal supervision 
&lt;br&gt;*Diagnostic and problem solving skills 
&lt;br&gt;*Broad knowledge of testing approaches, techniques and tools

Job Summary:



A stable and growing client located in Arkansas has retained our services in recruiting for a Sr. Software Tester. The Senior Software Tester performs all aspects of product testing including Functional, Regression, Performance, Usability, and Integration at the highest level of proficiency.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Leads the software testing team in the tracking and resolution of issues.

 

 Acts as the primary point of contact for Development, Project Managers, and Customer Advocates with regard to testing.

 

Works with the Development team and Product Owner to prioritize the resolution of defects throughout the testing cycle.

 

Participates in design meetings from a testing perspective and presents the strategy for testing.

 

Defines test phases and execution plans for each phase, ensuring that the methodology is applied appropriately.

 

Expresses recommendations based on client desires, product architecture, cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

 

Ensures cross-team and cross-department coordination and cooperation.

 

Participates in requirements definition, verifies that requirements are testable, and provides preliminary recommendations for how each will be tested.

 

Develops, publishes, and implements test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts and documents them all in project management software.

 

Performs all aspects of product testing including functional, regression, performance, usability, and integration. Produces test scripts that are pertinent to current software enhancements.

 

Understands a product&#39;s purpose and then ensures the testing strategy substantiates that purpose. Prepares and facilitates software demonstrations.

 

Verifies software matches customer expectations; assists developers with producing software components that meet or exceed customer expectations.

 

Discovers and analyzes requirements (written and oral) to derive test plans, test estimates, scripts, and reports.

 

Coordinates the identification and resolution of software issues between multiple departments, groups, and locations.

 

Utilizes automated test tools to improve test efficiency and repeatability.

&lt;li&gt;Ensure comprehensive test coverage by finding bugs, defects and verifying fixes&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Coordinates and clearly communicates assignments to the offshore team&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Informs manager in a timely and clear manner regarding progress on
tasks and of issues needing immediate remediation or escalation&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Works closely with manager to create and/or contribute to test plans
and test procedures&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Proactive attitude and a willingness to &quot;go the extra mile&quot; to get the job done well&lt;/li&gt;
